Pay it Forward with Jackie is run exclusively by volunteers; there are no paid employees. Pay it Forward with Jackie is an official 501c3, tax-exempt,organization.
Pay it Forward with Jackie is built on the hopes and dreams of a childhood cancer patient, a little girl, named Jackie, who inspires to “pay it forward”.Our mission is to increase the number of donors on the National Bone Marrow Registry, provide relief to the poor by working with local agencies, and provide gift certificates and/or bill payment to qualified applicants with special consideration to families struggling with a childhood cancer diagnosis.

Jackie, a vibrant little girl, is not like other children her age. On Christmas Eve, 2006, Jackie, at the age of three, instead of waiting for
Santa , was in the ER where she was diagnosed with leukemia (AML), an adult
form of leukemia not commonly seen in children.Jackie fought hard through months of chemotherapy andwas even put on a ventilator at one
point.Yet, she continued to fightand finished treatment August 2007.Sadly, Jackie’s stubborn disease returned in
February 2008 ,worse than ever.Jackie
once againwas in the battle for her
life and would ultimately need a bone marrow transplant to survive.There were no suitable donors on the registry
for her.If not for an unrelated cord
blood donation she would have died.Jackie still suffers post-transplant complications but pushes herself
daily by “paying
